I used to never read a book or even a story, until I read Holes. My sister told me one day that she had bought me a gift I was so excited, until I found out it was a book, but not being mean I started to read the book. I found out that once I started reading I could not stop, I wanted to just keep reading to find out what happens next. That book was the only book I had ever wanted to read without my parents saying I had to read. Now after reading that book I read more now, I have the attitude of just give the book or story a chance it can get interesting. Everyone should give a book or story a chance even if it looks long, because there is a perfect book for every person and if they do not try to read one then they will never find it. Once someone gives a story or book a chance they will see things differently, even if they are like me that never reads. Even though they might not know what type of books they do not like if they try all types they will find the perfect one. I want to encourage people especially kids to read because they do not know what they are missing until they find a great book or an adventure the way I see it as.
